Mary was married at the age of 16 to Milo A. Ransom in Cleveland, Idaho on 24 Sept 1914. Her temple work was done in the Logan, Utah temple 16 Nov 1960. Mary was the mother of seven (7) children, 3 girls and 4 boys:

Mary was a little lady. She was a very tidy lady, so neat and clean, and a wonderful homemaker. Everyone loved to come to her home where she had lots of homemade food. Her little hands could work so fast; she was a wonderful cook. Her home had open doors to everyone. On Sundays she fixed the dinner table many times for family and friends. That was when she was the happiest.

She used to do lots of sewing for people along with making clothes for her own family. She made many quilts. She used to help the Doctor and mid-wife when babies were born in the neighborhood.
17 Mar 1924 her 7 year old daughter, Veda, died with heart trouble. 2 Jan 1940 her son Joseph went on a mission to Texas. Her family was her life and her family always came first. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. They all dearly loved her. She died at an early age of 49 on 22 Jan 1948 of a stroke. Her death was such a shock, just five hours from the time she took sick. We miss her so much but some day we’ll understand.
