Milo was married at the age of 19 to Mary Amelia Walton in Cleveland, Idaho on September 24, 1914. He was endowed in the Logan Temple 16 Nov 1960. He was the father of seven (7) children, 3 girls and 4 boys:

Milo was an ambitious fellow. He was always doing things with his older brother and he helped his father in their saw mill. He came from a happy family who were always singing around their organ in the evening when their work was done. They always had their family prayer night and morning and went to church every Sunday with his family in a big white-top buggy. Milo was a quiet fellow in his way, always a good listener. After he was married he helped his father and brother in the saw mill. In later years he was the main man and ran the mill. That took lots of hard work. Then he learned to shear sheep and other hard jobs. He was a very handy man. He helped the carpenters build several stores here in Preston, Idaho. It seems he could do almost anything he set his mind to. He was a wonderful father…never a cross word. Our favorite time was in the evening when Father would sing us every song. We would wake in the mornings with him singing. He loved to hunt with his brothers and boys. It was interesting for his grandchildren to hear him tell of the experiences he had hunting. He sent one son, Joseph, on a mission in January of 1940. How happy that made him! When his two grandsons, Ross and Reed Conlin, went on missions he said you will be blessed in folds. His wife Mary passed away quickly with a stroke on 22 Jan 1948. What a lonesome life for him then as his children were all married but two. On August 21, 1950 he married his wife’s (Mary’s) sister, Myrtle. Myrtle’s husband had died, leaving her five children to raise. He had a happy life with Aunt Myrtle for 21 years. Then he passed away 8 Nov 1971 with a heart attack. It has been a great loss. We all miss him dearly.
